We are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our three engineering teams, comprising of 20 talented engineers. This role is pivotal in driving the technical direction, innovation, and execution of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for developing people and processes.

Your mission

• Lead engineering at Ninox:
  Your mission is to enable frontend, backend and platform teams – in total 20 engineers – to deliver a high-quality product with confidence, passion and pride.
• Work closely with the management team to translate strategy and product vision into engineering culture and execution.
• Coordinate with product and design leads to ensure cross-functional goals and initiatives are aligned.
• Develop and implement project plans, ensuring the successful execution of engineering objectives.
• Provide mentorship and foster an environment of continual learning and improvement within the engineering teams.
• Implement efficient processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Identify opportunities and challenges within projects, developing strategies to mitigate risk and ensure project success.
• Keep abreast of the latest technology trends to identify opportunities for technological advancement of the Ninox platform.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• In-depth understanding of modern software development methodologies and technologies.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering software projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
