As a trusted partner, youwillbe responsible forleading the company's financial&
legaloperationsto drive growth,manage costs, andensurefinancial sustainability.

Your daily business will involve

• Lead and manage thecontrolling,accountingand legal team(5 people total), including setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Collaborate withtheTWAICEexecutive teamto develop andcontribute tothe company's overallcommercialstrategywhilstensuringfinancial sustainability.
• Create and managethefinancial plan and budget,allocatingresources effectively to achieve maximum return on investment.
• Befullyresponsibleforthe execution ofall reporting related topics, includingmonthly financial reporting,monthly management reporting (including financial &
  operative KPI),monthly investor reporting.
• Analyze and evaluate financialsalong withbusinessperformance,identifyingopportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation.
• Drivethecompanyreportingfor all involved stakeholders,explicitlyinvestors,to tell a story in addition tohighlighting andforecastingbusinessperformance.
• Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit,data privacyand compliance.
• Shapeand consultthe commercialization of our software through the rightlegalcontractualframeworks.
• Overseeand leadall legal activitiestogether with our legal counsel.
• Establish andmaintainstrong relationships with external partners, including investorsandtax advisorsto manage financial risk and secure funding asneeded.
• Overseedata privacyacrossthe organization with the involvement of the data protection officer and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, promoting transparency and accountability.
• Orchestrate the required businesscertifications wemustmaintainandacquireto fulfill our commercial goals.

Your profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a similar field.
• 8+years of proven success onthecompany side in a financialor consultingrole (softwareproduct&
  PE/VC backed strongly preferred). Alternatively,experienceinfinancial management, strategic managementconsulting or investment banking.
• First-hand experience in building and leading an effective team.
• Hands-on &
  proactive is your way of working.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience in working with/ implementingLucaNet, DATEV and Salesforceis beneficial.
• Experience in operational (group) accounting,e.G.Consolidation, intercompany accountingis beneficial.
• Experience in the preparation of annual financial statements (in cooperation with a tax advisor) and audits.
• Strongsoftwarebusiness acumen and financial acuity, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Understanding of legalconcepts and translation ofcommercials into contractual frameworks.
• Experience with negotiation, drafting and managing of commercial agreements and T&
  Cs.
• Intrigued by going the extra mileandpassion for pragmatic execution.
• Fluent in both German and English.
