As Merchandising &
Commercial Development Intern you will be supporting the Retail Stores team with a main focus on Assortment Planning &
Optimization. As part of this Startup within the company you will be working with dedicated and talented colleagues and be part of an exciting journey of making Westing a real live experience. We want to develop the most exciting physical home and living Stores with extraordinary interactions, expert advice and a unique, always new curation of the Westwing Collection and selected brands. In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager Commercial Development Retail Stores.This position islimited to 6 months and based inMunich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• manage the store's order placement and order tracking, as well as weekly replenishment to ensure optimal inventory levels
• actively managing the store's portfolio to optimize our product selection and ensure the best-in-class assortment for our expanding business
• work closely with the Visual Merchandising Team to support the planning of Look changes and maximizing product visibility
• analyze product and category performance in both our physical stores and online shop to identify performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• work hand-in-hand with Store Managers and local Visual Merchandising Teams to understand and address store needs regarding portfolio &
  stock

YOU COME WITH

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, management, or a comparable course of study
• first working/professional experiences through Internships, Working Student Jobs, or similar
• very good analytical and MS Office Skills (especially Excel &
  PowerPoint)
• strong hands-on mentality, quick understanding, and a structured way of working
• very good written and spoken language skills in both German &
  English, as well as excellent communication skills
• passion for home &
  living and a very good feeling for products, trends, and aesthetics
