About our client

Our client, a newly formed and entrepreneurial Fund of Funds is based across Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich. They work on behalf of Family Offices and HNW individuals. They are in the process of fundraising for their first fund which will close at the start of 2025.

They are establishing themselves as an expert within an niche, they focus on small and mid market buyouts funds within the European market space. They specialise in primaries, with the potential for opportunistic co-Investments. They are looking to add a Senior Associate to their team, who would be responsible for developing their own area of expertise within the market. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with GPs as well as running your own deals from end-to-end.

This an exciting opportunity due to its unparalleled exposure from day one, and it offers the chance for you to have a huge impact in a relatively short period of time. What the job involves

  • Managing and building relationships with leading private equity managers to source fund investments, with potential for co-investments
  • Executing due diligence processes on funds, including in depth analysis on portfolio companies
  • Involvement in fundraising meetings
  • Playing an active role in team discussions
  • Consolidating investment documents and ultimately investment decisions

Who we are looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a fund investing role
  • Relationship driven personality with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Great commercial judgement
  • Excellent financial modelling skills and analytical ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written language skills in English and German
