Job Overview

Solactive is very successful in a highly demanding environment, with our global clients expecting high
standards of quality. We are seeking an experienced QA engineer to implement our QA strategy, standards, and practices across all Solactive's software engineering teams.
In this role you'll significantly contribute to our continued success, to the happiness of our clients, and to the productivity of our software engineering teams. You'll implement a consistent and effective global QA strategy, work towards a best-in-class QA processes.

Your Tasks

• You'll ensure overall quality of our products and software while working closely with our engineering managers, product owners, and important stakeholders.
• You'll implement the QA strategy of our software engineering teams from scratch, based on a thorough and data-driven analysis of risks, processes, and tools.
• Help define QA standards and best practices for our engineering teams and coach &
  consult them to meet and implement them effectively.
• You'll work most of the time as domain expert embedded in the engineering teams.
• Contribute to a culture of curiosity, learning, and knowledge sharing in the QA team and across all engineering teams.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, specializing in automation testing.
• Proven track record of constructing automation frameworks and test suites from scratch within an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience in setting up environments for functional and integration tests and seamlessly integrating them into day-to-day development in collaboration with DevOps.
• Broad hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Postman, etc.
• Good knowledge of SQL with relevant working experience with RDBMS (Postgres, MariaDB).
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Proficiency with version control systems (we utilize GitLab), continuous integration tools (GitLab CI), continuous delivery (ArgoCD), and task management tools (Jira).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and instigate change in a dynamic environment managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Detail-oriented, capable of assessing the product as a whole and identifying potential corner cases and bottlenecks.
