The Scope

We are looking for an engagedRevenue Manager who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.
Are you a detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoy working with data? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team at FSC as a Revenue Manager.
You will play a critical role in managing all aspects of revenue, with a primary focus on the Annual Administration Fee (AAF).

Main Roles &
Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies related to revenue generation and collection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and validate revenue-related data, including Forest Products Turnover and Annual Revenue, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and forecasts to project future revenue streams and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Own the finance-related aspects of AAF handling, including invoice generation, payment processing, and dispute resolution, in compliance with AAF policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and track AAF revenue performance against targets and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Conduct periodic audits of revenue-related processes and controls to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of revenue optimization strategies to maximize revenue generation and minimize revenue leakage.

Your profile

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree or CPA qualification preferred.

Working Experience, Style and Skills:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, revenue management, or related field, preferably in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial software, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Familiarity with forest product industry standards and certification processes (e.G., FSC) is a plus.


Languages &
Communication Skills:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • German is an important plus.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.


Computer Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:

  • Standard software packages (MS Office).
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau), and familiarity with SAP Business By Design and ERP systems.

Others:

  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team.
  • Commitment to FSC’s mission and values.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.
  • Familiarity and basic understanding of the scope of FSC’s programs and activities.

Terms and Conditions

  • Location:
    Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours:
    Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment:
    Initial 2-year contract with intent to extend.
