IMPORTANT TASKS

You will strengthen our Risk Controlling team where you can take responsibility for topics from modeling to implementation. As you will closely collaborate with different disciplines within the Risk Controlling team as well as other departments, you will gain an in-depths understanding of the bank-s transactions and the resulting risks. We empower you to take ownership for your topics and offer an open risk culture and direct contact to top management. Given our international team and the integration into Airbus Group, good English communication skills are needed.

Your impact:

• You drive the further development of the Risk-Bearing Capacity / ICAAP framework and oversee the consistent application of the corresponding methodologies and models
• You play a pivotal role in normative and economic capital planning under baseline and stressed conditions
• You coordinate stress testing activities and ensure a holistic, consistent approach across risk types including ESG risk drivers
• You improve decision making by providing advice and actionable recommendations to management based on your analysis
• You ensure adequate risk assessment by enhancing and validating methodology and the corresponding tools

BEST PRECONDITIONS

Your profile:

• Various years of experience in ICAAP or related areas in a financial institution or consultancy company
• Profound know how w.R.T. risk bearing capacity, capital planning, stress testing and limit frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of the relevant regulations and their implementation
• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for own topics and results
• Holistic mindset / ability to understand the big picture and to work cross-divisionally
• Ability to comfortably and effectively interact with risk experts and other stakeholders
• Master degree in economics, mathematics or comparable qualification, ideally with a banking/finance or quantitative focus
• Very good communication skills in English and ideally German
