Security Engineer (Blue Team) (M/F/D)

Your mission

As a Security Engineer (m/f/d) you will join our security team and support in all aspects of our Checkmk SaaS offering. You are key to building our security operations functions and are responsible for a secure product:

• Design, implement and run security monitoring (SIEM) for our SaaS offering
• Help us secure, design, operate, maintain and monitor a cloud-native plattform
• Join our security team and work together with other developers to identify/implement security critical features and fix security issues
• Design, implement and test incident response procedures
• Audit and review code (Application, IaC, etc.)

Your profile

• You see security as your responsibility and have a passion for IT
• You have at least 2+ years experience within IT Security / DevSecOps (Blue Team)
• You are up-to-date with current threads in IT Security
• Ideally familiar with infrastructure automation and config management tools (e.G. Terraform, Ansible)
• Friend of open source software and Linux
• Ideally you have experience with Python
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
