Senior Technical Writer (M/W/D)

What you’re keen to do

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic product team. You will play a crucial role in creating comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for our robotics solutions in the intralogistics domain. Collaborating closely with product owners, product marketing managers, and technical leads/developers, you will ensure that our documentation meets the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and accessibility. In addition, you will manage the idealworks Academy (e-learning platform), enabling trainings for internal and external stakeholders.

• Own idealworks’ documentation process including partner, product, support, academy, and training documentation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for our robotics solutions, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and release notes.
• Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to understand product features, functionalities, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with product marketing managers to ensure that documentation aligns with product messaging and positioning.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise written materials suitable for various audiences, including end-users, developers, and system integrators.
• Manage idealworks Academy (e-learning platform), enabling trainings for internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2-3years) working as a technical writer in the tech industry, preferably with a focus on robotics, automation, or intralogistics.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts related to robotics, automation, software development, and hardware systems.
• Proficiency in documentation toolsis a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectivelyin both English and German.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams is a plus.
