WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Trade Finance &
Working Capital Solutions Intern, you will have the possibility to develop a sophisticated set of skills in all aspects of Trade which is part of Global Transaction Banking (GTB), a deeper understanding of SCIB areas of interest and gain exposure to critical business tasks and projects. We need someone to help us to meet our large corporate clients’ needs for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and in the Nordic countries in different patterns:

• Assisting senior team-members in creating new business opportunities.
• Working on the preparation and execution of transactions.
• Performing financial and strategic business analysis.
• Liaising and coordinating many phases of the business development along with other departments (client
• coverage, Middle and Back Office, products specialist, compliance, legal).
• Preparing and delivering client presentations and supporting other business initiatives.

EXPERIENCE

• Ideally, first work experience gained (preferably in activities related to trade, working capital, corporate banking coverage).

EDUCATION

• Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics).

SKILLS &
KNOWLEDGE

• Motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a team player.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written German and fluent in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to Banco Santander’s high ethical standards.

Our internships last preferably at least six months. The precise period will be arranged individually. Please attach a copy of your supporting documentation in English and indicate your availability.
