Working Student In Legal & Compliance (M/F/D)

Your Responsibilities

As a Working Student in our Legal &
Compliance Department, you will help us to strengthen our Legal &
Compliance Department working in an international environment supporting the business in Germany, Luxembourg, France, and Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist with a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on consumer law, IT law, data protection law, and insurance contract law.

• Conduct legal research on upcoming new regulations such as (but not limited to) the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).

• Maintain and update our contract management and data protection management tools, ensuring timely monitoring of deadlines.

• Contribute to the quality assurance of terms &
  conditions and other legal documents.

• Handle complaints and ensure proper resolution.

Your ideal background and skillset

• Currently enrolled in a German University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule), studying German Law (state examination, Bachelor's, or Master's), preferably in Semester 5 or higher

• Fluent in German and English, knowledge of French is a plus

• High social competence, hands-on mentality, solution-driven, and team player

• Ability to tackle and solve complex issues with the capacity to explain them clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Careful, independent, and pragmatic approach to work
